Chrysanthemum study I - 16" x 20" print
A Chrysanthemum photographic study.
16” x 20” print size.
For the past several years I have photographing a series of flower studies, mostly black & white but occasionally in colour.
Photo may be cropped slightly to fit print area. For additional print sizes and pricing, please contact me directly.
The printing process I use is known as 'Pigment on Cotton', 'Pigment on Rag' or 'Giclee Prints'. Pigments on cotton rag papers have proven to be highly archival (consider for example Rembrandt's etchings - they were made using pigment inks on cotton papers). These prints have been independently assessed as archival, with a lifespan ranging from 100 to many hundreds of years in proper storage.
I use what I consider the finest photographic printing lab in Australia and they were the first lab in Australia to be certified by both Hahnemühle and Ilford as fine art printing experts.
There are several types of paper I can use to print but I prefer to use Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Gloss (310gsm – Semi-gloss – Smooth – Natural White – 100% Cotton) as it is a classic darkroom style paper with the aesthetic and feel of the original F-Type Baryta Fibre paper and contains no optical brighteners.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Shipping free worldwide.
I ensure each print is visually inspected and checked for faults, however please be aware that fine art gallery quality prints are a hand-made process and as such very small imperfections are possible (and personally I think they add to not detract from the artwork).
If there is an error and the wrong print has been sent, send it back and i will either send the correct one or refund your purchase.
Payment:
Payment must be received and cleared prior to shipment.
Shipping:
I usually ship within 10 working days of purchase. Fine art gallery quality prints take more time to produce and so I like to say 10 working days to ensure that I am happy with the quality and presentation of each print that is sent.
I use Australia Post for mailing prints. Prints are sent in a high-quality artwork mailing tube.
International Shipping:
Import duties, taxes and customs are the responsibility of the buyer. I recommend contacting your country's customs service before purchasing if you have any questions about that.
I cannot guarantee exact dates of delivery for international mail. Each country's postal service processing times for delivery can vary quite a lot.
I use this Australia Post service for mailing parcels internationally
